Totally agree. Functionality
Totally agree. Functionality with user experience at the forefront is all it will take. I think an Apple TV has a far greater chance of success, but Google TV might be all it takes to get the job done. It'll be interesting to see who prevails - I doubt it will be both of them.

I don't think we've seen TV
I don't think we've seen TV integration done right yet, so I'm excited to see if one of these will. I don't like the the interfaces that are baked into some high-end TVs. I don't think the average consumer wants to build a full-blown computer media center box. I think the right middle-ground is adding all the fun functionality into a middle-tier standalone device. XBox has nice apps baked in, but not everyone wants a gaming console either.
